Time for a general update about life and the progress of the writing life. In some ways, things are going well. Writing is going smoothly when I have time to write. My sprints are productive, and I’m outputting enough. In other ways, writing is not going well. Because the sprints are hard to do/get into. Starting is just difficult. I feel like it takes a number of revs to get the engine going.
My personal life is intimidating me, and the plan for today is to sit down with my bullet journals (yes, I keep more than one) and really get organizing my life more thoroughly. I like charts and things to fill out as I accomplish stuff. I also like having a fluid schedule rather than something rigid. Tight timelines make me frustrated because if I fall off of the schedule, I feel like a failure. It’s better to divide my day up based on tasks needing to be accomplished. The next part of this quest is getting the rest of the family on board and finding a way to make our systems gel together.
Lots to think about.

I’m at the point where I have to do about 3000 words a day to catch up. Can I do it? Yes. I haven’t hit impossible levels of being behind. But I do need to start taking this more seriously.
